Song Learning (songs not on my list):
-
One song not on my list can be learned free of charge as part of the package.
-
A minimum notice of 8 weeks is required for learning new songs not on my list.
-
Additional songs can be learned for $100 per song, or the recorded version of the song can be played through my PA free of charge.
-
New songs can only be learned for key moments ie. walking down the aisle, signing of the registry, end of ceremony, first dance or parent dances. General acoustic sets will consist of songs from my acoustic song list.

Weather (for outdoor events):
-
Please note that my equipment is not waterproof and has automatic shutoff overheat protection. In case of rain or heat (30+ degrees), I will require shelter or shade to protect my equipment.
-
In the event of rain (including forecast rain), extreme wind, extreme heat or waterlogged ground for an outdoor wedding or event, I will always set up in the closest dry, shaded, or sheltered spot available. If no such area is accessible or if the ground is waterlogged, I may be unable to perform (at my discretion), and no refund will be provided.
-
It is strongly advised to have an indoor backup plan in case of adverse weather conditions. Please make this decision at least 2 hours before the wedding/event starts to ensure the best experience for everyone involved.

Cancellations (by me or you):
-
In the very unlikely event that I am unable to attend your wedding due to illness, injury, car breakdown, or other unavoidable circumstances, I will make every effort to arrange a replacement. However, I cannot guarantee a replacement. If a replacement cannot be arranged, a full refund of any payments made will be provided.
-
I cannot assure a fixed price for a replacement. Although I will make an effort to find a replacement within the agreed budget, it is possible that the replacement may be either more or less expensive. In such cases, any cost difference will be the responsibility of the client.
-
On rare occasions, for duo bookings, I may utilise alternative musicians in the event of illness or other unforeseen circumstances. This is solely for ensuring a reliable performance, and there will be no change to the agreed fee. A replacement musician does not constitute grounds for cancellation.
-
The deposit can only be refunded in the event of a government imposed lock down. The deposit is not refundable for change of mind or cancellation for any other reason. In the case of a postponement, I can transfer the deposit to a different date, providing I am available on that date.
-
If the client cancels within 60 days of the event, 50% of the remaining fee will be charged. If the cancellation occurs more than 60 days before the event, no additional fees will be charged, but the deposit will be retained.

Equipment and setup:
-
I have a battery powered PA, so I can set up anywhere for my acoustic sets and power is not required.
-
Please note, some venues have sound restrictions (including sound limiters). In those instances I may be unable to utilise a subwoofer and will need to keep volume below a certain threshold- check with your venue if you'd like to find out about their sound restrictions.
-
For full package bookings where the ceremony and reception are in separate areas, I will need at least 1.5 hours to set up two PA systems. If the venue is unable to allocate 1.5 hours for me to set up, I may be unable to commence my performance at the agreed time, or I may have to complete my set up during canapés. For venues that do a lunch service or multiple weddings per day- please ensure I will have adequate time to set up.
-
In cases where the ceremony, canapés and reception are in different areas, please allow me at least 15 minutes to relocate my equipment.
-
Any damage caused to my equipment by adverse weather (if appropriate shade or shelter were not provided in the case of rain or heat) or damage caused by a client or guest of a client will be the responsibility of the client to cover replacement or repair costs.
-
While I carry backups for most of my equipment, it may not be possible to have backups of everything. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, I will do my best to find a solution, but a full refund will be provided for any service not rendered.

Additional considerations:
-
The mode of communication is entirely up to you. While I primarily use email (as it's easier to keep track of our conversations), I'm always happy to organise phone calls, Zoom chats or in-person catch-ups (depending on location). Feel free to choose what works best for you.
-
Please consider the pace and length of your aisle walk, aiming to reach the altar/front during a chorus for maximum impact.
-
Please note that MC services are NOT included in DJ bookings. I can work with any MC of your choice. I also offer an MC add-on for $500 where I bring one of my preferred professional MC's (Elroy or Jimmy) to MC your wedding (subject to availability).
-
If you are providing a meal for me at your event, thank you! Please note I require a gluten free, nut free meal during any bookings of 4 hours or more.

By proceeding with our services & paying the deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions, and we look forward to providing you with an unforgettable musical experience on your special day. If you have any questions or require further clarification, don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you!
