THINGS TO CONSIDER
WEATHER PLAN
For outdoor weddings & events, I require shelter if there's any chance of rain, and shade if its over 30 degrees. These simple precautions help protect my instruments and equipment, ensuring they perform reliably so your music isn't interrupted during the most important moments of the day.
BUMP IN TIME
I require at least 30 minutes to set up for live acoustic performances and 1 hour for DJ services. For full-day bookings, I need 1.5–2 hours before my start time. As some venues have back-to-back weddings or lunch service, please check that adequate setup time is available.
SOUND RESTRICTIONS
Some venues have sound restrictions, such as volume limits, no subwoofers, or requiring the use of in-house speakers. These can affect the energy of your dance floor, so I recommend checking with your venue before booking. I'm always happy to explain how any restrictions may impact your reception.
GOOD TO KNOW:
• Travel: Bookings more than 50km from 3178 incur a travel fee of $100 (50–100km) or $200 (100–150km). Additional accommodation fees may apply for distant venues with late finishes.
• Full MC Service: I recommend using a dedicated MC so I can focus on the music. I regularly work with two fantastic professional MCs (Elroy & Jimmy), available for $600.
• Duo Option: Duo bookings feature the wonderful Wendy from Wendybird Music (subject to availability). Add her for 1 hour ($500), 2 hours ($650) or 3 hours ($800).
• Celebrant PA: Most celebrants provide their own microphone and PA system. If yours doesn't, I can supply a wireless microphone and speaker for $100.
• Custom Songs: I'll learn one new song free of charge for a key moment (such as your aisle walk or first dance). Additional custom songs are $100 each. Alternatively, you can choose from my acoustic song list or use the original recording.
• Late Night MC: I'll happily MC the final part of the night at no extra cost, including last drinks, final songs, farewell and any closing announcements. This allows your main MC to finish once the dance floor gets underway.
